JAKARTA - The staff of the Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) Arya Sinulingga predicts that PT Waskita Karya (Persero) Tbk will avoid bankruptcy decisions. Moreover, he said, Waskita still has many assets.
Based on the case processing information system (SIPP) of the Central Jakarta District Court, a hearing will be held today for the decision on the Postponement of Debt Payment Obligations (PKPU). Based on the schedule, the trial will start at 13.00 to 16.00 WIB.
"I think, because Waskita is strong in assets. The assets are really good, there are a lot of toll roads, there are still a lot of toll roads. Then there are still many projects. Then it's also unlikely to go bankrupt," he said at the Ministry of SOEs, written Thursday, August 24.
Furthermore, Arya menilia will consider that Waskita is bankrupt. Given that this state-owned company Karya has good assets.
"Obviously everything is weighted for it because for those who are bankrupt. If it's not compact, it's a loss to collect it. Because surely they still want to be saved because Waskita is good and the asset is good," he explained.
