Hino Holds Driving Training Discussion To Support The Pre-Employment Ecosystem Program At GIIAS 2023
JAKARTA - The 2023 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) exhibition is a stage for a number of automotive manufacturers to introduce the latest models and attractive offers to the public.
One of the things that caught Hino's attention was Hino's move, a commercial vehicle provider, in holding discussions that were valuable at this biggest automotive event.
In the event, Hino raised an important theme in a discussion entitled "Hino Indonesia Academy Contributes to the Pre-Employment Ecosystem Program." This collaboration involved PT Hino Motors Sales Indonesia (HMSI) and the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia (Kemenperin RI).
Santoko Wardoyo, Chief Operating Officer (COO) Director of PT HMSI, explained that this discussion has the aim of introducing the role of Hino Indonesia Academy in the Pre-Employment Ecosystem Program. The Academy aims to overcome unemployment problems by providing training to individuals to have skills that suit industry demands.
"With trained drivers, it is hoped that accidents and risks in transportation can be suppressed, creating safer and more comfortable transportation in Indonesia," Wardoyo said in his official statement, Wednesday, August 16.
The panel discussion involved two main speakers, Andreas Aditya Swasti, the Head of the Pre-Employment Card Ecosystem Development of the Indonesian Ministry of Industry, and Pieter Andre, the Head of Hino Indonesia Academy. The event began with an opening speech from Chairul Saleh, Assistant Deputy IV of the Indonesian Ministry of Industry.
Hino Indonesia Academy is an institution founded by HMSI to provide training that supports the Pre-Employment Ecosystem Program, with a focus on developing truck and bus driving skills. This step was taken to improve the quality of Human Resources (HR) in the transportation sector, as well as contribute to overcoming the problem of unemployment and supporting safer transportation in the future.
