After Golkar And PAN, The Gelora Party Will Also Support Prabowo
JAKARTA - The Gelora Party has decided to support the General Chairperson (Ketum) of the Gerindra Party Prabowo Subianto in the upcoming 2024 election, following the recent support of Golkar and PAN.
Deputy Chairperson of the Gelora Party Fahri Hamzah said his party had started extensive communication to both the public and to cadres to support Prabowo.
In fact, Fahri said, almost 100 percent of the aspirations of the regional leadership council to the central leadership council expressed support for the Indonesian defense minister.
"Indeed, support for Pak Prabowo has reached almost 100 percent, and in the not too distant future, we will do it officially as a decision by the Dean of the National Leadership (DPN)," Fahri told reporters, Monday, August 14.
Moreover, Fahri continued, Prabowo already has the stability of the 2024 presidential election until the registration period for the presidential and vice presidential candidates later. Where it has been supported by Golkar, PAN and PBB.
"Even Mr. Prabowo can also determine the vice presidential candidate (Cawapres) even in tight times. So he just needs to talk, for example, someone suddenly ends up saying 'Hey, chairman of this party, you just be my representative'. So it's getting married, it's over," said the deputy chairman of the DPR for the 2014-2019 period.
In addition, Fahri also said that the Prabowo movement ahead of the 2024 presidential election was quite elegant. According to him, it was considered positive by the community.
"I was among those who saw Pak Prabowo's steps were elegant, he didn't want to go too far. This is extraordinary, the people will read the least ambitious," said Fahri.

Therefore, Fahri assessed, now is a moment for Prabowo to win the presidential election, one of which is the winning strategy by communicating with the people.
"We have to believe that this is indeed the time for Pak Prabowo, it is just a good communication that will cause the public and the Indonesian people to agree to unanimously elect Pak Prabowo this time as President of the Republic of Indonesia," he concluded.
