Get Support For Presidential Candidates From Golkar-PAN, Prabowo: We Are Part Of Jokowi's Team
JAKARTA - After getting support as a presidential candidate from the Golkar Party and PAN, Gerindra Party Chairman Prabowo Subianto feels that he has the same vision as the two parties, in line with President Joko Widodo's administration.This was conveyed by Prabowo considering his position as Minister of Defense, Chairman of Golkar Airlangga Hartarto as Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs, and Chairman of PAN Zulkifli Hasan as Minister of Trade at this time."We are not shy here saying that we are part of the government team, led by Mr. Joko Widodo. We are part of Jokowi's team which we must dare to say we have succeeded in bringing this nation and state to this day," Prabowo said at the Proclamation Script Formulation Museum, Central Jakarta, Sunday, August 13.However, Prabowo emphasized that the support of these two parties was not a directive from Jokowi. This is truly an honor for me which also makes me determined not to disappoint the hopes of these parties and especially the hopes of all Indonesian people," said Prabowo.In the future, Prabowo admits that he will continue to open the door for other political parties to join a coalition that carries him and campaigns for him as a presidential candidate.
"We will open up by joining parties and other political powers. We will face an election, compete chivalrously and chivalrously. We will run an open campaign that will not vilify or denounce any party," Prabowo explained.
