A group of armed robbers raided an Indomaret minimarket on Jalan Pusdiklat Depnaker, RT 10/05, Makasar Village, Makasar District, East Jakarta. As a result of the robbery, two Indomaret employees became victims.
Two Indomaret employees with the initials FF (23) and MF (20) are known to have suffered injuries after trying to thwart the robbery. The perpetrators tried to steal the safe belonging to the minimarket.

"The perpetrator entered one, then followed two. One person had not yet made a transaction, just asked, "This is closed, right?" Then two employees were pushed to the safe place and the perpetrator immediately threatened the employee with a machete," said Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of Makassar Police, Iptu Mochamad Zen when confirmed by VOI, Friday, August 11.
According to Iptu Zen, the perpetrators did aim to go to the safe. Then when the perpetrators entered the safe room, it turned out that the lights in the room were turned off.
"So the perpetrator was deceived by the victim, "This is the switch outside". They gave me the three of them up, even though the switch was inside. Then the door was immediately closed," he said.
