TNI Members Carrying 20 Kg Of Shabu Sentenced To Life And 10 Years In Prison
PONTIANAK - Two members of the TNI carrying 20 kilograms of crystal methamphetamine from Sambas Regency to Pontianak were sentenced to life imprisonment and 10 years by the 105 Pontianak Military Court.
Chief Justice of the Military Court 1-05 Pontianak Pontianak Colonel CHK Setyanto Hutomo sentenced the defendant one Chief Sergeant Adinda Mayrindra and the defendant two Sergeant Major Tarmidzi to be legally and convincingly proven guilty of drug abuse.
The judge sentenced Defendant one to life imprisonment and additional punishment fired from military service.
For defendant two, the main sentence is 10 years in prison. The defendant was also fined Rp. 1 billion, subsidiary to 6 months in prison and an additional sentence was fired from military service.
Regarding the evidence, said the spokesman for the 105 Pontianak Military Court, Major CHK Erman Noor Fajar, some were confiscated for destruction and some were returned to the authorities.

"In addition, the cost of the defendant's case one is borne by the state, while the cost of the suspect's case is two in the amount of Rp. 15 thousand," said Erman Noor Fajar as quoted by ANTARA.
Earlier in early February 2023, the West Kalimantan Regional Police together with Customs and Excise arrested the two members of the TNI on Jalan Panglima Aim, East Pontianak District with evidence in the form of 20 kilograms of crystal methamphetamine to be sent to Beting Village, Pontianak.
