4 Fishermen Victims Of Shipwreck On Gladak Beach Found Dead
TULUNGAGUNG - The joint SAR team found four fishermen who were victims of the sinking ship on Gladak Beach, Tulungagung Regency, East Java. The four of them were found dead.
The Coordinator of the Trenggalek SAR Post Basarnas, Yoni Fahriza, said that the four victims were found by the search and rescue team at almost the same time in the adjacent area, not too far from the location of the marine accident.
"All of them were evacuated by officers in a dead condition. They were found floating not far from the scene," said Yoni, quoted by ANTARA, Wednesday, August 9.
Hendi Purnomo, captain of the Excel ship, was first found at 11.20 WIB at a distance of about 0.5 nautical miles or nautical miles.
Not long after, the SAR team that carried out a search from the sea found the victim Mukono, a crew member of the Wilwo ship at a distance of 0.2 nautical miles at around 11.40 WIB.
Two hours later, the joint SAR team evacuated Kukuh Setioaji, the crew of the Excel ship, at coordinates 0.3 nautical miles and finally Suparni, the captain of the Wilwo ship, at 0.7 nautical miles around 16.00 WIB.
"Furthermore, the victim was evacuated using a fishing boat to Prigi Harbor. We handed over the victims to the family," he said.

With the discovery of the four crew members who had been declared missing, the search operation was declared closed.
Previously, two fishing boats from Trenggalek Regency broke after being rolled by the waves. In that incident, two crew members in each ship survived, while the others were reported to have drowned.
After an effort was carried out, their search was found dead.
"So there are two ships with four crew members each. Four crew members survived temporarily, four other crew members were reported to have drowned," he said.
