Singing Singers And Jefri Setiawan Achieved In The World Event, This Is What The Menparekraf Said

JAKARTA - Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy Sandiaga Uno appreciated the achievements and achievements of Indonesian musicians who excel in the world arena such as winning Singers and Jefri Setiawan.

"Jefri will be recorded in three records, namely the World Talent Book, URF Asean, and ABR Icon Award 2023 (Top Talent of the Year)," Sandiaga said in a press release, quoted by Antara Wednesday.

Jefri Setiawan became the figure of an Indonesian musician who broke the world record of memorizing 170 songs by order by playing the piano with his eyes closed non-longest in the world and the record was broken while at the Consulate General of the Republic of Indonesia (KJRI) Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE).

Prior to appearing in Dubai, Jefri was known to have participated in record-breaking activities and received support from Indonesian Representatives in Berlin, Singapore and New Delhi.

Menparekraf Sandiaga also appreciatedTEN Singers, the independent voice group from Surabaya who some time ago won the World Choir Games event in Gangneung, South Korea for the Champion of Pop Ensembles Category and Champion of Pop Jazz Category and the Finalist Grand Prix at the Bali International Choir Festival in Bali, Indonesia in July 2023.

"Currently, the Singers have around 50 members with an average age of 15 years and over," he said.

In the same press statement, Deputy for Digital Economy and Creative Products of the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy Muhammad Neil El Himam said collaboration in the form of promotions continues to be carried out to support and accommodate creative economy actors, for example through accelerated and incubation programs from the music sector.

"The Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy has also visited various regions to see the potential of music industry players in utilizing the digital era so that they can market their works well," he said.
