Reviewing Depok At Bukit Sulap Market, Deputy Minister Of Trade Jerry: Price And Stable Stock
JAKARTA - The Ministry of Trade is working with local governments to maintain price stability for basic goods (bapok).
Several bapok in the market experience price fluctuations, but in general they are still stable.
This was conveyed by Deputy Minister of Trade Jerry Sambuaga while visiting Bukit Sulap Market, in Lubuklinggau City, South Sumatra, Sunday, August 6.

Jerry said good cooperation between all elements in the region with the Ministry of Trade in monitoring and direct visits to the market is one of the government's efforts to maintain price stability and the availability of bapok stock for the community.
"Praise God, the results of the checks carried out together with the Mayor and the Chief of Police, ranging from rice, oil, bulk oil, as well as packaged oil, garlic, shallots, chickens, and eggs, the price was monitored to be stable. The stock is also smooth, safe, and sufficient because we maintain price stability and stock availability of bapok," he concluded.
Based on observations as of August 5, 2023, the price of medium rice was recorded at IDR 11,000 per kg, premium rice IDR 13,000 per kg, sugar IDR 14,000 per kg, bulk cooking oil IDR 15,000 per kg, cooking oil Oil Oil IDR 14,000 per liter, premium packaged cooking oil IDR 18,000 per liter, beef IDR 130,000 per kg, and shallots IDR 35,000 per kg.
Then, wheat flour Rp. 13,000 per kg, curly red chilies Rp. 30,000 per kg, large red chilies Rp. 30,000 per kg, red cayenne pepper Rp. 30,000 per kg, and garlic allowances Rp. 38,000 per kg.
