Final Fantasy 14 Will Be Released For Xbox Series X/S Players Soon

JAKARTA - In addition to announcing its biggest expansion, the Final Fantasy 14: Dawntrain, Square Enix has also confirmed that the MMORPG will soon be coming to the Xbox Series X/S.

As a release on Xbox later, it will feature a faster loading time and 4K support in Series X with a 6.5x patch that receives open beta. In addition, Square Enix also promises better support for its Xbox version.

"And we also see this as a moment in our relationship with Square Enix and the Final Fantasy team as we want to partner closer together in the future," he added.

Spencer also said that the entire Xbox team was excited to see how their latest Warriors of Light would use full Xbox Series X and Series S capabilities to help save Eorzea.

Square CEO Enix Takashi Kiryu then appeared on stage to thank Spencer for welcomeing the Xbox joining the Fantasy Final family.

"As CEO of Square Enix, we want to continue to provide extraordinary games to fans around the world, and of course, we want to welcome the Xbox community as well, starting with today's announcement of the Fantasy 14 Final coming in the spring of 2024," added Kiryu.
