Her Majesty Stormzy, Will Fund 36 Cambridge Black Students
Stormzy promised to fund Cambridge's 36 black students over the next three years.
Stormzy Scholarship launched in 2018 and in 2026 will support 81 students through their studies at prestigious universities.
Each student will receive an annual scholarship of 20 thousand for school fees and maintenance costs through #Merky Foundation Stormzy and HSBC banks.
The bank has pledged 2 million to support 30 new Stormzy Scholarship recipients over the next three years, while the #Merky Foundation will continue to fund two more students each year.
"For the other 30 black students who had the opportunity to study at Cambridge University - the same year we celebrated five years of scholarship launch - feels like an incredible important moment," the gloomy star told BBC News.
