Monday Morning, Jokowi Attends Inclusion Meeting In Situbondo, East Java
SITUBONDO - President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo (Jokowi) is scheduled to attend the 5th National Inclusion meeting which will be held for three days, namely July 31 to August 2, 2023 in the Salafiyah Safi'iyah Sukorejo Islamic Boarding School area, Situbondo Regency, East Java.
The Committee for the 5th National Inclusion Meeting, Muhammad Samsuddin, said the activity began with sarasehan as well as a joint prayer held at the grave of the National Hero KHR As'ad Syamsul Arifin in the pesantren area.
"Today's activities are sarasehan as well as a joint prayer at the grave of KHR As'ad Syamsul Arifin which will be attended by all participants of the 5th National Inclusion Meeting," said Samsuddin.
To this day, continued Samsuddin, there are about a thousand inclusion participants who say they are ready to attend, and they consist of disabled organizations, academics, disabled practitioners, disabled motorcycle communities. Meanwhile, the relevant ministries/agencies include the Ministry of Social Affairs, the National Commission for Disabilities, Bappenas, and Komnas HAM.
"Those who have confirmed their presence at the National Inclusion Meeting are more than a thousand, and today most of them have arrived at the Salafiyah Safi'iyah Sukorejo Islamic Boarding School," he said.
In addition to the inclusion exhibition, on the same day an art performance was held at the KHR As'ad Syamsul Arifin Religious Tourism field, which will feature disabled people. In addition, there is also a seminar for two days, namely Monday, July 31 to Tuesday, August 1, 2023.

The National Inclusion Meeting is a routine activity held every two years, which brings together various parties who are activists of disability issues. This year, Situbondo Regency is the host.
"The first inclusion findings were held in 2014 in Yogyakarta. Second, and third in Yogyakarta again. 2020 was carried out virtually due to the pandemic. Thank God this year it will be held in Situbondo," he said.
