Deras Flow Subsidy! Every Month The State Budget Injects IDR 9.6 Trillion For Fuel
The Ministry of Finance (Kemenkeu) stated that the allocation of subsidies and compensation budgets is still one of the government's priorities in spending on the 2023 State Budget.
Minister of Finance (Menkeu) Sri Mulyani said that the largest subsidy is distributed to fuel oil (BBM). According to her, the value of subsidies and fuel compensation during the first semester of 2023 is IDR 57.7 trillion.
"This means that the value of the subsidies issued by the government every month reaches Rp9.6 trillion for a total of 7.16 million kilo liters of fuel," he told the media crew on Monday, July 24.
The Minister of Finance explained that the disbursement of funds was part of central government spending which was channeled through non-ministerial/institutional (K/L).

Meanwhile, the realization of subsidies and other non-K/L compensation is for the electricity sector of IDR 42.9 trillion (IDR 7.1 trillion per month), 3 Kg LPG subsidies of IDR 32.5 trillion (IDR 5.4 trillion per month), housing subsidies of IDR 344.7 billion, and a Pre-Employment Card budget of IDR 2.28 trillion.
"This is an example of central government spending whose benefits can be directly felt by the community," he asserted.
To note, the total APBN expenditure as of June 2023 was recorded at IDR 1,255.7 trillion, growing 0.9 percent year on year (yoy). The book is equivalent to 41 percent of the APBN ceiling of IDR 3,061.2 trillion.
