Coordinating Minister For Maritime Affairs Affirms Development Of Borobudur Infrastructure Must Be Local Wisdom
JAKARTA Borobudur Temple will be a big state revenue because it has high cultural value. This was conveyed by the Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment (Menko Marves) Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan. Luhut targets the Borobudur Temple area as many as two million visitors per year.
"Borobudur is one of the interesting (many tourists). Borobudur will be one of the great state revenues, state revenue with two million tourists that we can get from there," said Luhut, quoting Antara, Saturday, July 22.

Luhut also emphasized that the development of super priority tourism destinations (DPSP) must pay attention to all aspects, including their beauty. He gave an example of cables for the benefit of the internet network or telecommunication network that must be planted underground so that they are neater.
"In addition to being neat, we must also pay attention to the infrastructure (which is built) in tourist destinations, where it must be with local wisdom. I repeat that there must be local wisdom," he said.
