Ridwan Hisjam Admits The Expert Council Does Not Have The Authority To Encourage Golkar Munaslub
JAKARTA - The Ethics Council of the Golkar Party on Tuesday 18 July asked for clarification on the member of the Expert Council Ridwan Hisjam regarding the discourse of an extraordinary national deliberation (munaslub). This clarification was made in the summoning of the Ethics Council at the Golkar Party DPP. To the Ethics Council, Ridwan Hisjam admitted, the Expert Council did not have the power or the right to hold a munaslub. He emphasized that the Expert Council was only authorized to provide input to the General Chairperson of the Golkar Party DPP, Airlangga Hartarto. In fact, the Expert Council also did not have the input it was recommended by the General Chair of Golkar. "He did not have the right of the Expert Council, he only provided input to the General Chair, not to the DPP. By the general chairman wanting to be used or not, it was the right of the general chairman," said Ridwan Hisjam after the Ethics Council at the Golkar Party's DPP Office, Tuesday 18 July. Ridwan Hisjam emphasized that he did not want a Golkar munaslub. In the recommendation issued by the Expert Council, only related to the input for Airlangga Hartarto to immediately declare himself as a presidential candidate. Because, it was a decision of the 2019 National Conference. Dewan Pakar also recommended Airlangga to make a new axis that could make it easier to have a vehicle to become a presidential candidate. Ridwan Hisjam emphasized that his love for Golkar and Ketum Golkar is not shaky at all. "I love for the Golkar Party, I never shakes at all. I never at all, and my love for the General Chair (Airlangga Hartarto). Because I am one corps with Mr. Airlangga in the unity of the Engineer, said Ridwan Hisjam is not in doubt to make a new axis in the 2024 Presidential Election.
