Erick Thohir Encourages Palembang Millennial Entrepreneurs To Be A Global Economic Driver
JAKARTA - Minister of State-Owned Enterprises, Erick Thohir, encourages young Palembang business actors to become drivers of the global economy.
With the creativity of young business actors, Erick believes that the resulting MSME products can compete in the global market.
Erick, through his Special Staff, Arya Sinulingga, stated that SOEs are very ready to facilitate young business actors to be able to improve the quality of the products produced to penetrate the global market.
"BUMN certainly has programs and facilities that are ready to support MSME business actors. For example, we have a BUMN house, where millennial entrepreneurs can use it as a place to carry out training. In addition, we are currently designing a preventive machine that will be available in BUMN offices and the products sold are MSME products," said Arya, in his statement, Tuesday, July 18.
Arya also added that Palembang as a tourist city and famous for its processed fish food, namely Pempek, Rumah BUMN South Sumatra which is fostered by PUSRI can be used as a central place for souvenirs. With this, the BUMN House can help improve the economy of MSME actors.

In addition, in a joint discussion with Entrepreneur Millennial Palembang Arya also mentioned that MSME actors must be proactive in increasing their self-capacity and business entities.
This discussion session with Entrepreneur Millennial Palembang was attended by 70 young business actors who were assisted by PUSRI, BNI, Mandiri, and BNI.
Future hopes that millennial entrepreneurs can continue to improve the quality of product ideas and innovation so that they can penetrate the international market and play a major role in national economic growth.
