Impressions Of The Indonesian National Team Selection Participants For The U-17 World Cup In Bali Which Breaks The Record

The selection of the Indonesian national team for the U-17 World Cup was held in Gianyar, Bali, followed by 947 participants. They not only come from the Island of the Gods, but also several other regions.

Reporting from Antara, the selection participants also came from a number of cities in East Java, West Nusa Tenggara, East Nusa Tenggara, Papua, and Maluku.

The selection process was monitored directly by the General Chairperson of PSSI, Erick Thohir, and the Head of the U-17 National Team Selection Team, Indra Sjafri.

The participants admitted that they were enthusiastic about participating in the selection process by making various preparations, including physical readiness by running or exercising in the fitness center.

"I like football as well as want to build talent. Who knows, I'm called into the national team," said one of the participants from Bima, NTB, Bin Yohanes Mawa.

Another participant, I Putu Kevin from Denpasar, also pocketed physical and mental training after previously joining the development of Bali United Youth.

"I want to advance to the U-17 national team because this has become my talent and hobby," said the student of SMAN 2 Denpasar.

Previously, two assisted players at Bali United Youth, namely Andre Pangestu and Komang Ananta, had been summoned to undergo a selection in Jakarta.
