Bareskrim Check Pastors Who Participate In Prayers With Panji Gumilang

The Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police continues to examine witnesses in the investigation of the alleged blasphemy case led by Al Zaytun Islamic Boarding School, Panji Gumilang. One of them is a pastor with the initials CHMP.

"CHMP, who is concerned, arrived earlier at 10.00 WIB and is currently under investigation," said Karo Penmas, Police Public Relations Division, Brigadier General Ahmad Ramadhan, to reporters, Friday, July 14.

Based on the video footage, the priest appeared to be in the row of saf when Panji Gumilang performed congregational prayers.

The second witness is the former Deputy Regent of Indramayu, Lucky Hakim. In addition, investigators also scheduled an examination of Farida Al Widad (FAW), the wife of Panji Gumilang and a bribery with the initials C.

However, both are said to have not fulfilled today's examination.

"The witnesses were asked for information regarding their whereabouts recorded in the video at the Al-Zaytun Islamic Boarding School," said Ramadhan.

In investigating this case, more than 20 witnesses have been questioned. In fact, linguists, religions, ITE, and sociologists have also given their views.

The status of this alleged blasphemy case has also been upgraded to the investigation stage. Although, until now Panji Gumilang is still the reported person.
