Vice President Is Happy With Inter-Religious Harmony In Fakfak, West Papua
FAKFAK - Vice President Ma'ruf Amin expressed his joy at the extraordinary inter-religious harmony in Fakfak Regency, West Papua, as an area that has the motto "One Three Stone Tungku".
This was conveyed by the Vice President in a meeting with religious leaders and traditional leaders of Fakfak Regency, in Fakfak, West Papua, Friday, July 14.
"I welcome the harmony between religious communities and religious harmony. Then the spirit of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia. This is our basic capital in building," said the Vice President as quoted by ANTARA.
Based on the report of the Fakfak Religious Harmony Forum, inter-religious harmony and communication in Fakfak went very well.
The vice president said the philosophy of "One Tiga Batu Tungku" owned by Fakfak, means that unity and diversity must be preserved, as well as improved so that it becomes a kind of lifestyle for the community.
"So, I think 'One Tiga Batu Tungku' is a philosophy that underlies various activities, updated in the form of not only slogans, but in the form of order of our lives in society," said the Vice President.

The Vice President stated that religious harmony is the main element of national harmony. According to him, without religious harmony, national harmony will not be realized.
"Regions that have experienced irregularities have an extraordinary impact, their setbacks. It has happened in Ambon, it should not happen anywhere again. It is the past that must not be repeated," said the Vice President.
"I am happy because in Fakfak everyone can live in harmony and can help each other according to the philosophy, 'One Tungku Tiga Batu'," he said.
