Presenting Various Transaction Innovations, Bank DKI Wins Indonesia Most Acclaimed Awards 2023

JAKARTA - Award after award continues to be received by Bank DKI. Most recently, Bank DKI was named by an independent institution, Warta Ekonomi as Indonesia Most Prestigious Company 2023 with Outstanding in Accommodating Various Needs of Public Financial Transactions, KBMI 2 category for the efforts made to expand the reach of digital technology-based financial services and innovation.

The award, which was initiated by Warta Ekonomi, was handed over virtually at the Indonesia Most Acclaimed Company Awards (IMACO) 2023 on Thursday 6 July and received directly by the President Director of Bank DKI, Fidri Arnaldy.

Fidri dedicates the award received to all stakeholders, especially customers, shareholders and business partners who continue to give trust to Bank DKI.

"This award is a valuable appreciation for Bank DKI's efforts to transform in expanding the reach of digital technology-based financial services and innovation. Including various collaborative steps with various government entities, BUMN, BUMD and other private sectors as an effort to ensure the sustainable growth of Bank DKI's business and support the achievement of the 2045 Golden Indonesia Vision," explained Fidri.

In addition, the Indonesia Most Acclaimed Company Awards (IMACO) 2023 award completes the achievement of the Bank DKI award to 53 award categories until the first week of July 2023.

"Bank DKI is committed to always being active in encouraging financial inclusion by strengthening collaborative steps with various stakeholders to create innovative digital-based financial services solutions that are able to reach and provide benefits to the wider community," added Fidri, who was recently named Top Banking CEO of 2023 by The Iconomics.

At the Indonesia Most Acclaimed Company Awards 2023, the research team conducted an online survey with 3,756 respondents from all over Indonesia in the April-June 2023 period aged 18 to more than 50 years. After that, the research team of Warta Ekonomi Group also used the desk research through media monitoring content analysis by taking samples of annual report publications, finances, and publications in public media.

The CEO & Chief Editor of Warta Ekonomi Group, Muhammad Ihsan, explained that the Indonesia Most Acclaimed Company 2023 award was given to Bank DKI which is considered capable of presenting transaction service innovations and solutions through a technological approach.

"As a financial services company, Bank DKI is seen as capable of accommodating various public financial needs such as paying taxes, donating, and paying QRIS, especially with the presence of JakOne Mobile super apps, and electronic money cards, JakCard," added Ihsan.

The Minister of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform, Abdullah Azwar Anas, who was also present as the keynote speaker, said that economic growth in Indonesia is generally supported by business activities, from various Indonesian sectors and plays a role in supporting the growth of all regions in Indonesia continuously and continuously.

"One of the accelerations in business bureaucracy is a bridge to manage the company's flow so that it is more structured. In addition, a company must create efficient corporate governance, including through digitalization," said Azwar.

Bank DKI Corporate Secretary, Arie Rinaldi added that the award brought by Bank DKI was also dedicated to all Bank DKI employees to continue to provide the best service for customers, as well as stakeholders and continue to provide innovations for the company's progress.

Under the leadership of Bank DKI President Director, Fidri Arnaldy Bank DKI is increasingly adaptive in the development of digital banking services to expand public financial access such as JakOne Mobile super apps, JakOne Pay simple apps, JakOne Abank and other digital banking services such as Cash Management System, as well as the development of digital lending applications for credit and financing facilities.

In terms of card-based non-cash transaction services, Bank DKI continues to expand JakCard's acceptance as an electronic money card on various modes of transportation for DKI Jakarta, museum entrance tickets and tourist attractions managed by the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government and BUMD, to transactions at various merchants in collaboration with Bank DKI.

Arie further explained that one form of innovation for the expansion of financial services, Bank DKI has launched the JakErte feature which provides convenience for the management of Neighborhood Associations (RT) online and integrated with the JakOne Mobile application.

"The main features that are owned include payment of contributions and bills, news and activity information, submission of delivery letters, information from residents, to payments and purchases," concluded Arie.
