JAKARTA - A man with special needs became a victim of bullying by a number of teenagers in the Johar Baru area, Central Jakarta. The incident was also recorded by amateur videos by several perpetrators.

Based on the viral video footage, it was seen that the gang of perpetrators approached the victim. They kicked and watered the man with special needs with water. The bullying took place on Saturday, July 8.

Johar Baru Police Chief Kompol Rudi Wiransyah confirmed the bullying. Rudi said the victim with the initials S and the bullying took place at 05.00 WIB.

"According to the victim's brother, S has suffered from epilepsy and nerves since childhood," said Kompol Rudi, Monday, July 10.

After conducting an examination, the victim admitted that he wanted to buy uduk rice when the bullying occurred. Then, S was approached by a group of perpetrators. He was verbally ridiculed and doused with water.

"The perpetrator tried to kick the victim, but avoided it," he said.

Subsequently, the police arrested the perpetrators of bullying. The three perpetrators were arrested at the Johar Baru Police, while the other two perpetrators recorded them.
