JAKARTA - The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) predicts that rain will flush parts of the provincial capital in Indonesia on Saturday, July 8. Quoted from the BMKG website in Jakarta, it is stated that the provincial capital is predicted to have light rain on Saturday (8/7) afternoon, namely Denpasar, Serang, Yogyakarta, Central Jakarta, Bandung, Surabaya, Banjarmasin, Palangkaraya, Pangkal Pinang, Tanjungpinang, Manokwari, Pekanbaru, and Palembang. Meanwhile, the Pontianak, Mataram, and Medan areas are forecasted for moderate rain. BMKG urges the public in Bandar Lampung, Ambon, and Manado to be aware of rain accompanied by lightning during the day, also in the Jambi region at night.
The Bandar Lampung and Medan areas are forecasted for heavy rain at night. Meanwhile, cloudy weather will cover the Jambi, Semarang, Samarinda, Ternate, Jayapura, Mamuju, Kendari and Padang areas this afternoon.
