Triumph Collaboration With Bajaj, Produce Two Ringkas Motorcycles With 400cc Machines
JAKARTA - The legendary two-wheeled vehicle company from England, Triumph, along with the Indian motorcycle brand Bajaj, released 400 cc for the Indian market, namely Speed 400 and badminton 400 X.
These two motorbikes carry a motorcycle segment with a compact design. This segment is very suitable for use in Asian countries, such as India, with densely populated areas and full of vehicles.
Reporting from Autocar India, Tuesday, June 27, Speed 400 was named after the Triumph Speed Twin 900 model. The engine used is 1-cylinder 398 cc air-cooled which is capable of generating 40 dk of power and 37.5 Nm of torque with a combination of six acceleration transmission performance.
Speed 400 wears a rim with a size of 17 inches up front and back with a Metzeler Sportec M9RR tire. Speed has a suspension of 140 mm on the front and 130 mm on the back. Speed weighs 170 kg.
Meanwhile, 400,000 400 X took a lot of inspiration from a large capacity 900diagonal motor. This motorbike carries the same engine as Speed 400, namely 1-cylinder 398 cc air-cooled which is capable of generating 40 dk of power and 37.5 Nm of torque with a combination of six acceleration transmission performance.
Unlike the Speed 400, the 400 Xmen used a combination of 19-inch rims on the front and 17 inches behind with the use of the Matheler Karoo Street tires. The suspension used was also longer with 150 mm on the back.
Because it uses a larger brake disc, badminton has a heavier weight of 179 kg.
Both motorbikes are also equipped with abundant features. Such as LED lights, ride-by-wire, transaction control, two-channel ABS, immobileizer keys, cluster assists, USB-C Port, and semi-digital cluster instruments.
