Trying Fast Trains Towards Tegalluar Station, Jakarta-Bandung Only Takes 40 Minutes
JAKARTA - PT Kereta Cepat Indonesia China (KCIC) has again conducted a trial of the Jakarta Bandung Fast Train (KCJB).
In this trial, two trainsets or a series of trains were combined with a total of 16 carriages.
VOI had the opportunity to try out the inspection train or comprehensive inspection train (CIT) from kilometer (Km) 14 in Bekasi, West Java.
In today's trial, the train is estimated to reach a maximum speed of 350 km per hour. The trial was carried out by transporting the Special Staff of the Minister of SOEs Arya Sinulingga, KCIC employees, and media crews.
The train drove at 14.00 WIB and arrived at Tegalluar Station at 14:40 WIB.
This means that the time spent to arrive in Bandung Regency is only 40 minutes.
When entering the train, it was clearly white to dominate the train interior. Meanwhile, the chair is blue.
In this train series there are also places that can be used for meetings.
Not only that, passengers can also see running text containing information related to room temperature, speed, and train location points.
This inspection train is also equipped with mini-pantry, toilets.
When the train was traveling at its maximum speed, the VOI team also had time to do a train stability test using coins.
As a result, coins can stand. This train is also a vibrational mimin and there is no noise.
When he arrived at Staisun Tegalluar, the Special Staff of the Minister of SOEs Arya Sinulingga expressed the impression he felt during the trip. He said this fast train was very comfortable.
"It's comfortable, because there's no connection between the tracks so we don't feel anything. Earlier we were in the tunnel too, some were not felt 4 km. So it's very good," he said at Tegalluar Station, Bandung Regency, Sunday, June 25.

Arya said he was optimistic that this high-speed train would operate according to the target set by the government.
The government targets the high-speed train to operate commercially in October.
"We will be operationalized in the near future, in August (soft launching). So if someone says (the KCJB operation) is late again until next year. That means he hasn't updated," he said.
