Megawati Goda Airlangga And Zulhas: It's OK To Join, It's OK
Chairman of the PDI-P (PDIP) Megawati Soekarnoputri teased the Golkar Party and the National Mandate Party (PAN) who had not yet determined support in the 2024 Presidential Election (Pilpres).
This moment occurred when he made a speech at the peak of Bung Karno Month (BBK) with the theme 'paling the Hands of the United Indonesia Raya' at the Gelora Bung Karno Stadium (SUGBK) today, Saturday, June 24. General Chairperson of the Golkar Party Airlangga Hartarto and PAN General Chair Zulkifli Hasan attended this event.
Initially, Megawati said that PDIP had appointed Central Java Governor Ganjar Pranowo as a presidential candidate. He said his party was also open to those interested in collaborating in the 2024 presidential election.
"Earlier I told you, even though actually (PDIP, ed) it is permissible that (driving, red) the presidential and vice presidential candidates themselves. But I opened the door, why? Because our nature is kinship and mutual cooperation," said Megawati.
The 5th President of the Republic of Indonesia then mentioned that after Ganjar was appointed as a presidential candidate, a number of political parties stated that they wanted to join. Currently, there are three political parties that have joined, one of which is PPP.
The Acting General Chairperson of PPP Muhamad Mardiono who was present at the event was seen as happy as when his name was mentioned by Megawati.
"From PPP, come on, Mr. Mardiono stand up. He's number one, 'Mom, can I be both, ma'am?', 'Yes, sir'," Megawati said repeating her conversation with Mardiono.
Then the fifth President of the Republic of Indonesia also mentioned the name of the General Chairperson of the Hanura Party, Oesman Sapta Odang (OSO). Megawati called Oso her brother. In addition, he also mentioned the Perindo Party which is also close to supporting Ganjar.
"Mr. Oso, he likes to get angry, why haven't you ever been, 'why haven't you ever invited my brother'. 'Come here if you want to come'. The third is Mr. Hary Tanoe's person," said Megawati.
After that, Megawati then satirized Golkar, PAN, and PKB. The three parties are still considered unclear in the direction of their support in the 2024 presidential election.
"If there are three (Golkar, PAN, PKB) that's what I said, say again, think about it first," said Megawati.

However, Megawati then said, PDIP does not have a problem if in the end Golkar, PAN or PKB do not cooperate with the party. But also open if you want to get closer.
"That's right, you guys are laughed at, right. But yes, I said nothing, I want to come, I can't, I'm not coming, it's okay. That's right, ma'am," concluded Megawati.
