According to him, when the troops get adequate training, when needed by the state, namely disturbances, they are ready because they have obtained adequate knowledge.

"For that we will never stop training. Because when there is a disturbance and special forces need it, then we are ready," he said.

Bambang explained that Koopssus troops were formed in 2019 consisting of three elite troops in three TNI dimensions, namely the Army, Navy, and Air.

Bambang said the TNI had experience in carrying out hostage release operations, both domestically and abroad, as did the TNI forces when releasing prisoners in Somalia and Thailand.

"We have also experienced the release of hostages, namely in Somalia which has not been too long, and also in Thailand. That's why it is very important to do training and training," he said.
