Accelerating COVID-19 Vaccination, Farma Laboratory & Clinic Collaborates With The Indonesian Army To Remote Areas

JAKARTA - As a form of support for expanding the scope of the mutual cooperation vaccination program echoed by the Government, Kimia Farma Laboratory & Clinic (KF Lab & Clinic), in collaboration with various government agencies, private sector partners and local communities to create a healthy Indonesia.

KF Lab & Clinic synergizes with the Indonesian Army National Army (TNI AD) to provide vaccination services and medical support targeting all levels of Indonesian society.

In order to achieve vaccination coverage to remote areas, KF Lab & Clinic and TNI AD carry out mutual cooperation vaccinations. On the seventh occasion in an event entitled Health Service in the Context of Closing the 116th TNI Manunggal Building Village (TMMD) TA 2023 Kodim 0204/DS in Deli Serdang City, North Sumatra on Wednesday 8 June 2023, KF Lab & Clinic carry out mutual cooperation services and vaccinations.

Attended by the Chief of Staff of the Indonesian Army, the Regent of Deli Serdang, the Head of the North Sumatra Regional Police, the Chairman of the North Sumatra DPRD, and the President Director of PT Kimia Farma Tbk who were accompanied by the President Director of PT Kimia Farma Diagnostika, KF Lab & Clinic ensures equitable vaccination coverage by handing over vaccine support, BMHP (Use Medical Materials), Logistics and Operations.

In addition to vaccinations, other activities in TMMD are screening checks and vitamins as well as social agendas in the form of providing basic necessities to people who have participated, providing wheelchairs, and launching ambulance motorbikes.

President Director of PT Kimia Farma Tbk revealed that his party was greatly assisted by the Indonesian Army during the distribution of this vaccination with the company's readiness to prepare health services and medical support, supported by infrastructure that Kimia Farma has spread and is available throughout Indonesia.

"We are honored to be able to implement the VGR Program with the TNI AD, with this collaboration expected to have a significant impact in overcoming wide vaccination coverage and achieving it as expected by the government," said Ardhy Nugrahanto Wokas, as President Director of Kimia Farma Laboratory & Diagnostics.

The series of mutual cooperation vaccination programs were carried out in stages, as many as 17 cities and supported at all health service points of the Indonesian Army spread throughout Indonesia. Until June 2023, the coverage of mutual cooperation vaccination reached 1,127,000 doses.

Through this collaboration between Kimia Farma Lab & Clinic and the Indonesian Army, it is hoped that it can make a positive contribution as well as vaccination services to meet the needs of health services for the Indonesian people.
