The Reason Why Inara Rusli Wants Custody And Rejects Nursing Children With Virgoun

JAKARTA - Inara Rusli in the divorce suit filed, asked that her three children's custody fall to her. After undergoing mediation hearings and meeting Virgoun, the former girl band member also reiterated the reason for wanting child custody.

"I will continue to maintain child custody. Taking care of children and children can't, children are also not 12 years old, their teaching is under me, so I ask for custody," said Inara Rusli at the West Jakarta Religious Court on Wednesday, June 7.

Mulkan Let-Let as Inara's attorney also gave the same reason regarding child custody. He emphasized that his three client's children who are under 12 years old should be cared for by the mother.

"Oh yes, legally it clearly states that children under 12 years old have custody of their mothers," said Mulkan.

"At the points, when the child is over 12 years old, the child can choose whether to choose his father or his mother. That's if it's over 12 years old," he continued.

Inara Rusli's attorney said that what was found in the Islamic Legal Company as a reference for the problem of child custody of his client and Virgoun had clearly given an explanation. He stated that the custody of children absolutely fell into Inara's hands.

"So, in a compilation of Islamic Law, it is clear at the point that under 12 years old, the child custody falls to the mother. That's absolute," he said.

On the other hand, Wijayono Hadi Sukrisno as Virgoun's attorney confirmed that in this divorce trial, his client hopes to get child custody.

"It has been discussed materially, I don't know exactly, but as far as I know from my client, it remains with the desire to raise children," concluded Wijayono Hadi Sukrisno, Virgoun's attorney.
