JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) said he felt the need to interfere in the 2024 General Election (Pemilu) as a form of responsibility.
This was conveyed by Jokowi during a press conference after attending the PDI Perjuangan National Working Meeting at the PDIP Party School, Lenteng Agung, South Jakarta, Tuesday, June 6. He said, interfering in the political contestation was meant solely to monitor the leadership transition.
"I have said that it is my moral obligation to be female and female. It is my moral responsibility as president during the 2024 national leadership transition," Jokowi said.
As head of state, Jokowi feels obligated to ensure that the simultaneous 2024 elections run well. Don't let the democratic party be colored by ripples that endanger the nation and state.
