Immigration Office: Racers And Formula E Crews Have Obeyed Immigration Rules
JAKARTA - Head of the Immigration Intelligence and Enforcement Section of the Class I Immigration Office of North Jakarta TPI, Bong Bong Prakoso Napitupulu, said that so far 913 foreign nationals (foreigners) have entered Indonesia.
The arrival of these foreigners was sponsored by PT Jakarta Propertindo (Perseroda) or Jakpro for Formula E activities.
The Immigration Office also ensures that drivers and electric car racing crew Formula E 2023 at the Jakarta International E-Prix Circuit (JIEC) Ancol, North Jakarta, have complied with immigration regulations.
The role of foreigners is varied, including 23 racers, 26 journalists and the rest of the crew consisting of workers, supervision, technicians, racer administrative staff and others, as reported by Antara.
During the activity, 913 foreigners involved in Formula E activities lived in hotels around the Ancol area, North Jakarta to the Kemayoran area, Central Jakarta.
At the prestigious event, officers from the Class I Immigration Office in North Jakarta were present to carry out immigration supervision in coordination with Jakpro as the organizer.
Foreigners who are active in carrying out supervision of the construction of circuit supporting facilities whose work is carried out by local workers, all of them have used a Limited Stay Permit Card (KITAS).
Meanwhile, other foreigners who participated in the Formula E event used a one-time visit visa.
So far, no immigration violations have been found from foreigners who were present at Formula E activities.
