Pertamina Upstream Subholding Borong Award At APQA Event
JAKARTA - Pertamina's Upstream Subholding successfully won 5 awards at the 2023 Annual Pertamina Quality Award (APQA). APQA is an annual award event in the field of innovation and sustainable improvement organized by PT Pertamina (Persero).
The event, which this year carries the theme Embracing Change, Leap The Challenges, was held at Graha Pertamina, Friday, May. Present at the event was the Director of Finance of PT Pertamina (Persero), Emma Sri attention, Director of Human Resources (HR) PT Pertamina (Persero), M. Erry Sugiharto, and Director of Human Resources & Business Supporting Upstream Subholding, Oto Gurnita.
In his remarks, the Director of Human Resources of PT Pertamina (Persero), M. Erry Sugiharto, explained that it is currently a period of industrial revolution 5.0 where the use of modern technology such as artificial intelligence, robotics, e-learning machines will go hand in hand with human activities.
We will continue to deal with technology, if it is interpreted positively, it will certainly help us answer challenges and accelerate performance. But on the other hand, it can be a threat and cannot adapt to these changes. Quality Management is an important factor in increasing competitive advantages, building the Company's image, and increasing added value in achieving the success that will be felt in the long term, "explained Erry, in his statement, Tuesday, May 30.
In this activity, Pertamina's Upstream Subholding again showed achievements with five awards, including The Most Productive & Sustainable CIP, The Most Productive Replicated Innovation, The Best KOMET Influencer, The Best Business Performance Excellence, and The Best Value Creation Achievement.
Pertamina's HR & Business Supporting Director of Upstream Subholding, Oto Gurnita, revealed that APQA is a very positive and constructive program so that it must always be supported in a sustainable manner.
"Alhamdulillah, the implementation of APQA 2023 went smoothly and all innovations contributed significantly. Innovation is one of the pillars of Quality Management which has become the company's culture. In addition, innovation is also part of the daily process business to produce optimal products so as to support operational excellence to support the achievement of company targets," explained Oto.
Oto further explained Pertamina's Upstream Subholding commitment, where his party will continue to carry out innovations in various functions to produce optimum value creation without sacrificing safety and operational excellence.
APQA in 2023 is the 13th year in which there are a total of 154 innovations that have received awards. Pertamina's Upstream Subholding also won 21 platinum categories, 23 gold categories, and 9 silver categories.
