BRI Records Number Of BRILink Agents A Total Of 654,677 In The First Quarter Of 2023
JAKARTA - PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk or BRI recorded the number of BRILink Agents as many as 654,677 agents in the first quarter of 2023, exceeding the 2023 target of 615 thousand agents.
"With the increasing number of BRILink Agents and cooperation with BRI credit analysts, it is hoped that they will be able to build a micro-economic ecosystem, one of which is in terms of lending through the BRILink Mitra UMi Agent," said BRI Micro Business Director Supari in an official statement in Jakarta, quoted from Antara, Monday, May 29.
Mitra UMi's agent is an agent who focuses on channeling ultra micro loans to the public, so it is hoped that it will be able to provide benefits to all MSME actors in terms of providing business capital to avoid moneylender practices.
According to him, BRILink agents spread throughout Indonesia to 3T (Front, Remote, and Disadvantaged) areas are at the forefront of BRI in opening financial access and serving the Indonesian people.
The distribution of BRILink agents is expected to educate the public about banking services and can maximize business opportunities and open businesses.
The positive impact of the increase in BRILink Agents can be seen from the number of transactions that show an increasing trend in the first four months of 2023.
During this period, it was recorded that Rp339.5 trillion of financial transactions had been recorded. The increase in the number of transactions shows that BRILink's Agents have a very important role in the economy and people's lives.
In its implementation, said Supari, BRILink agents are always ready to serve the needs of the community even during the holiday period. The presence of BRILink Agents can also facilitate the life activities of the Indonesian people through the features that have been provided.
