PKS Politician Bukhori Yusuf Calls A Quarrel So The Reason His Client Divorced His Second Wife
JAKARTA - The attorney for the Prosperous Justice Party (PKS) politician Bukhori Yusuf (BY) Ahmad Mihdan, revealed the reason his client divorced his second wife or MY was because she felt uncomfortable because she often fought.
"It was more of an argument inside and they were together uncomfortable, so they were divorced and our client was very disturbed when married. That's all," said Ahmad in Jakarta, Friday, May 26, quoted by Antara.
He told that BY and MY got married in February 2022, then divorced in November 2022. During their marriage, said Ahmad, BY felt uncomfortable with MY.
"Yes, for almost 8 months they were more uncomfortable and there was no persecution," he added.
On the other hand, regarding the domestic violence report to BY, Ahmad assessed that what MY had done was too far. Because, based on evidence in the legal process at the Bandung Polrestabes, no evidence was found showing any criminal acts by BY.
"The report submitted by MY is a minor crime of persecution referring to Article 352 of the Criminal Code and not domestic violence. So, it denies allegations that BY committed domestic violence and this is still under investigation," said Ahmad.
In addition, the actions taken by MY side have hurt the legal wife and two daughters of BY for slander that has become public consumption and has caused wild interpretations in the community.
"By's legal team considers that the actions taken by MY, which seem to be a woman who is a victim, have actually hurt other women, namely the legal wife and the two daughters of our client for slander that has become public consumption and caused wild interpretations in the community," he said.

Therefore, Ahmad claimed to have collected evidence related to the illness suffered by MY, who had been a patient at the Cibubur Drug Addiction Hospital (RSKO), East Jakarta.
He said it could at least be a consideration for the public, especially law enforcement officials, to assess the accuracy of the information provided by MY.
BY, a former member of the Indonesian House of Representatives from the PKS faction, was reported to the Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police regarding the alleged domestic violence against his wife with the initials M.
Monday (22/5), Chairman of the PKS DPP for Public Relations Ahmad Mabruri said that the internal investigation process regarding alleged disciplinary violations by BY was already running internally at the PKS DPP.
Ahmad Mabruri said reports from the public that came in were alleged domestic violence by BY. BY has also signed his resignation letter as a member of the DPR.
