Penajam Paser Utara Police Are Investigating The Case Of 2 Brothers Owned By Sabu From South Kalimantan
North Penajam Paser (PPU) Police, East Kalimantan (Kaltim), investigated the arrests of two brothers with the initials Hr (45) and Hn (36) who were caught possessing methamphetamine from South Kalimantan (South Kalimantan). "We are still investigating the arrest of a drug courier with the initials Hr, a resident of Tanah Bumbu Regency, South Kalimantan," said Head of Operations Section (Kabag Ops) of the PPU Police Commissioner Adjunct Senior Commissioner of Police (AKP) Jajat Sudrajat in Penajam, Friday, May 26, quoted by Antara. The police arrested Hr together with Hn, a resident of Waru Village, Waru District, PPU Regency, who was also suspected of being a drug courier on May 19, 2023. "Hn and Hr were arrested in front of a rented house in Waru Village, the police found evidence of 41.54 grams of crystal methamphetamine," he explained. Another piece of evidence seized was a motorcycle, clear-packing plastic, a cell phone unit belonging to Hn, and a mobile phone unit belonging to Hr.

The two were arrested after the police carried out surveillance for one week. During the examination, Hr admitted that he was contacted by his friend from South Kalimantan with the initials A to find methamphetamine-type drugs. Then Hr contacted his family in PPU Regency, namely Hn. Then Hn left for Balikpapan City to buy crystal methamphetamine for Rp. 45 million to F. "A from South Kalimantan and F from Balikpapan is still a DPO (wanted list)," said Jajat Sudrajat. The two suspects Hn and HR were threatened with Article 114 paragraph (2/in conjunction with Article 132 paragraph (1) or Article 112 paragraph (2/in conjunction with Article 132 paragraph (1) of the Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics. The penalty threat is a minimum of five or 20 years to a maximum of life.
