Ridwan Kamil Extends Head Of West Java BPBD To Be Bekasi Regent
West Java Governor Ridwan Kamil submitted a decision letter from the Indonesian Ministry of Home Affairs regarding the extension of the leadership period of the Bekasi Regent to the Head of BPBD West Java Dani Ramdan. "Congratulations, there is no need for adaptation anymore, because it has been a hat-trick (three times) in office. I hope that there will be no more unnecessary dynamics, already final. The authority is not in the Governor, but in the Ministry of Home Affairs," said West Java Governor Ridwan Kamil quoted by ANTARA, Thursday, May 25. Kang Emil said that the determination of the Indonesian Ministry of Home Affairs as stated in the Decree No. 100.2.1.1187 dated May 18, 2023 has gone through consideration of a number of aspects, especially maintaining the sustainability that has taken place. According to him, the decision to extend the position of Acting Regent of Bekasi to Dani Ramdan was appropriate to support development acceleration programs while maintaining conduciveness in the midst of a political year which is starting to warm up. "Because the term of office of the Acting (Intigrant) is only a year so if there are too many changes in our view there will always be a process of adaptation and it will always be a time-consumeration process so that the development process can experience a lot of slowdown. Bekasi Regency must be a pilot area in all aspects," he said. He advised Dani Ramdan to continue his positive performance with a number of achievements as well as to resolve the dynamics as problems through consensus deliberations without creating new problems. "All aspirations please be heard, all the less good ones please be refined, and all those who have accomplished please continue. The key to the situation like this is communication, do not compromise on things that violate the rules, compromise on things that violate legal value," he said. Acting Regent Bekasi Dani Ramdan said based on the Decree of the Minister of Home Affairs of the Republic of the Republic of the Republic of Tito Karnavian, the official Bekasi Regent's position has been extended since 18 May 2023 to 18 May 2024. He admitted that he would continue the priority programs such as the development of the Bekasi-Cikarang corridor industry, social technology, education, unemployment, also the spatial system of the region.
