The DPRD Asks The Provincial Government To Review The Distribution Of Working Hours, Worried That Congestion Hours Will Increase
JAKARTA - Chairman of Commission B of the DKI Jakarta Regional House of Representatives (DPRD), Ismail, said that the DKI Provincial Government (Pemprov) needs to review the division of working hours regulations to two, namely 08.00 WIB and 10.00 WIB.
"It seems worth finalizing and reviewing, as an alternative solution to unraveling congestion in DKI," said Ismail as quoted by ANTARA, Thursday, May 11.
According to Ismail, the government must ensure that the interval between the first and second working hours is effective to unravel congestion.
This is because, he continued, many office employees will enter at these two times.
If the time interval is too close, it is likely that congestion will continue to occur on several roads.
In addition, the provincial government must also pay attention to activities at 08.00 WIB and 10.00 WIB outside offices such as schools and traders.
If the two-hour division is deemed appropriate, the executive needs to test this policy to see whether or not it is effective in unraveling congestion.
"Yes, it deserves to be finalized the study, in principle, because as an alternative this solution is legal," he said.

Heru explained that his party already has the concept of employee entry hours which can be divided into two sessions, namely 08.00 WIB and 10.00 WIB.
"The entry of each building must be half, at 8.00 WIB with 10.00 WIB," continued Heru.
According to Heru, the distribution of the employee's entry hours can make it easier for employees to take their children to school first.
"It (the employees) came from home at 06.00 WIB to send the children to school first, at 7.00 WIB he (goed) to the office at 8.00 WIB," said Heru.
