The PDI-P (PDIP) will register a legislative candidate (caleg) with the General Election Commission (KPU) on Thursday, May 11. Names registered from the provincial to district or city levels."Registration of all legislative candidates from regencies, cities, and provinces and central levels will be carried out simultaneously on May 11 at 10:00, precisely all of Indonesia will register," Hasto told reporters at the Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium (SUGBK), Central Jakarta, Monday, May 8.Hasto ensured that the requirements for the legislative candidate in the 2024 General Election were complete. Thus, the KPU can immediately determine the decision process.However, Hasto has not been able to reveal the names of the candidates from PDIP. He only gave leaks of figures who would advance from various circles such as academics, culturalists, to ministers of the era of President Jokowi's administration.Furthermore, Hasto said that all legislative candidates will have tasks that must be completed. One of them, won Ganjar Pranowo in the 2024 presidential election."Who will be the legislative candidate will also become a very important pillar in the victory of Mr. Ganjar Pranowo," he said.
"Given that all legislative candidates together with regional heads and presidential candidates are one unit, so that the names of those who become vote gates, the names representing academics, from cultural figures, are ministers in Pak Jokowi's cabinet who will be nominated by PDIP, experts who will become important cores in each commission," concluded Hasto.
