JAKARTA - Kaspersky's Advanced Persistent Threat Report (APT) revealed that APT activity in the first quarter of 2023 discovered a new trend of tools, techniques and campaigns launched by APT groups in cyber attacks around the world.

"Although we've been tracking the same APT players for decades, it's clear that they're constantly developing with new techniques and devices. The emergence of new growing threat actors means the APT landscape is changing rapidly, especially in the midst of digitalization progress," said David Emm, lead security researcher at Kaspersky's Global Research and Analysis Team (Global Research and Analysis Team/GReAT).

According to David, organizations must remain vigilant and ensure they are equipped with threat intelligence and comprehensive tools to fortify themselves from both existing and new threats.

"By sharing the insights and findings of experts, we aim to empower cybersecurity professionals to be ready to face high-profile threats," he added.
