Paralympic Athlete Dies On Gambir Train Line, PT KAI Speaks Up
JAKARTA - Head of Public Relations of KAI Daop 1 Jakarta, Eva Chairunisa, has not been able to confirm the cause of the victim of a man being on the edge of the elevated railroad (KA) at Juanda Station, Central Jakarta.
"Because we also don't know, why (the victim) could have arrived at that location," Eva said when confirmed by VOI, Friday, April 28.
Eva said the case is still under police investigation. PT KAI is also still waiting for the results of the investigation from the Central Jakarta Metro Police.
"Right now, the cause is being investigated by the police. We'll just have to wait," he said.
Previously, it was reported that the Central Jakarta Metro Police conducted an investigation regarding the death of a table tennis disabled athlete (right hand disabled) on the edge of the Juanda Station flyover (KA) which borders Gambir and Sawah Besar, Central Jakarta.

The victim is known to have the initials DDMJ (46), a resident of Cilandak, South Jakarta. The victim suffered injuries to the back of the head. From his body, a cellphone and ticket were found on the KAI Access application with the "booking code 9HV69PE" for the Argo Lawu train departure from the GMR-SLO relation on April 27, 2023 (EX-1/12D) on the schedule with a GMR at 20.45 and arrived at SLO at 03.49 WIB.
The victim was already boarding. When found, the victim's position was on the route between Gambir Station to Juanda at KM 4-700.
