An Injured Fish Fisherman Was Snatched By A Muara Crocodile In Pandeglang

JAKARTA - A fish angler named Haerudin (35) became a victim of a crocodile attack while fishing in Basir Village, Sumber Jaya Village, Sumur District, Pandeglang Regency on Sunday, April 23.

The victim, a resident of Cibitung District, Pandeglang Regency, suffered a number of lacerations all over his body and is still undergoing medical treatment.

According to witness testimony, Suheli (40) the incident occurred on Sunday, April 23 yesterday. Initially, the victim and his partner were fishing in Muara Kampung Basarir, Sumber Jaya Village, Sumur District.

"The victim was fishing with a damaged boat sitting and his feet sticking down. Suddenly the victim's leg was caught by the crocodile so that the victim fell into the estuary," said Suheli in a statement received the report, Tuesday, April 25.

The victim asked his friend for help, and the victim's friend after hearing screams from the victim approaching the victim.

"The victim was seen already in the estuary as a result of being attacked by a crocodile," he said.

The victim's colleague then shouted for help from local residents. About 10 people came to provide help. With makeshift tools, residents helped the victim so that the victim could escape the crocodile's bite.

As a result of the crocodile's attack, the victim suffered lacerations to the left arm 30 cm long and fractures. The right arm had more than 10 cm of torn wounds and fractures.

"The wound was torn on the right shoulder along the 15 cm long and also a fracture. The wound was torn in the left calf and left waist," he said.
