Prabowo Is Suitable To Be Ganjar's Vice Presidential Candidate And Will Be The Strongest Pair In The 2024 Presidential Election

JAKARTA - Executive Director of Charta Politica, Yunarto Wijaya sees Gerindra Chairman and Defense Minister Prabowo Subianto as the most ideal vice presidential candidate for the Governor of Central Java, Ganjar Pranowo, in the 2024 presidential election.

Yunarto assessed that Prabowo was very strong electorally and was able to accompany Ganjar well and become the strongest pair in the presidential election later.

"The ideal thing to talk about is the vice presidential candidate who will electorally allow this pair to be very strong is Pak Prabowo himself," Yunarto explained in his statement, Monday, April 24.

The survey results of the Saiful Mujani Research and Consulting Institute's presidential candidate showed that Ganjar Pranowo received the highest support with 26.8 percent of the votes, followed by Prabowo Subianto with 25.4 percent of the votes.

According to Yunarto, the Ganjar-Prabowo duo will be stronger if it is realized because both are symbols of the nationalists and endorsed by President Joko Widodo to speak sustainability.

Both of them are ranked first and second. Both are symbols of nationalists as well and we happen to see these two who are symbols of the figure endorsed by Pak Jokowi to speak sustainability," he said.

Yunarto emphasized the importance of lowering the egos of each party elite, both from PDIP who carried Ganjar as a presidential and Gerindra reading led by Prabowo.

Yunarto hopes that political parties can think realisticly and support couples who have the highest electability.

Previously, President Joko Widodo also mentioned Prabowo as a potential figure to become a vice presidential candidate for Ganjar Pranowo.

With the support of PDIP and Gerindra, it is believed that the Ganjar-Prabowo pair will become one of the strong pairs in the 2024 presidential election.
