JAKARTA - Sis Berdaya, a local initiative jointly organized by digital wallet companies DANA and Ant Group to empower female entrepreneurs in Indonesia, especially those from ultra-micro and micro businesses, has received more than 2,400 registrants from local female entrepreneurs.
As many as 86 percent of registrants come from female entrepreneurs in the ultra-micro business category, while the rest come from the micro-business category. The top three industrial categories that register in the SisBerdaya program are F&B, Retail and Manufacturing.
Furthermore, of all incoming registrant applications, 180 of the most prominent registrants will be selected by the jury and announced on May 3, 2023, based on various criteria, including business sizes, vision and strategy, innovation rates, and others.
The 180 entrepreneurs will then receive cash prizes and guidance as well as skills training for one month from leading mentors, which will begin on May 17, 2023.

Agustina added that this program is also intended for female entrepreneurs who are still not familiar with business digitization and prefer to market their products from mouth to mouth.
"One of their daily concerns includes limited access and lack of financial literacy, therefore they are very grateful for the initiative of the SisBerdaya program," continued Agustina.
We are deeply moved by the enthusiasm of female entrepreneurial communities to participate in Sis Berdaya and their desire to take advantage of digital technology to drive their business towards success, not only locally but also globally.
