D-7 Eid Al-Fitr 2023, A Total Of 56,2133 Vehicles Leave Jakarta Via The Cikampek Utama Toll Road

BEKASI - PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol recorded as many as 56,213 vehicles leaving Jakarta via the Cikampek Utama Toll Gate (GT) on the D-7 Eid Al-Fitr 1444 Hijri.VP Corporate Secretary and Legal PT Jasamarga Transjawa Toll Ria Marlinda Palallo said the volume of vehicles leaving the Jakarta area via GT Cikampek Utama had a significant increase compared to normal days. "The increase reached 69.37 percent when compared to normal traffic, namely 33,190 vehicles," he said, quoted by ANTARA, Sunday, April 16. PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol also recorded traffic volumes in the same period in the Central Java and East Java Provinces. 26,917 vehicles were monitored to pass GT Kalikampkung to Semarang, up 63.25 percent from normal traffic 17.101 vehicles. "For vehicles leaving Semarang through the Kalikangkang GT, 15,962 vehicles were recorded or up 8.23 percent from normal traffic as many as 14,748 vehicles," he said. At GT Banyumanik, 21,722 vehicles were recorded towards Semarang and 33,324 vehicles leaving Semarang or rose 21.11 percent compared to normal traffic of 27,516 vehicles. In the East Java region, 22,150 vehicles headed for Surabaya via GT Warugunung or rose 10.52 percent to normal traffic as much as 20,042 vehicles while 20,363 vehicles left Surabaya via GT Warugunung. Then 27,277 vehicles were recorded towards Surabaya via GT Kejapan Utama and 29,312 vehicles leaving Surabaya. Finally, at GT Singosari, 14,774 vehicles headed for Malang and 12,651 vehicles were observed to leave Malang and 12,651 vehicles were observed to leave Malang.

He appealed to road users to prepare themselves before entering the trip by ensuring that they are in top condition and always comply with health protocols as recommended by the government while in the rest area.
