Lebaran 2023 Homecoming, Pelindo Frees Ship Sandar Costs At Ciwandan Port And Long
JAKARTA - PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Pelindo) will provide incentives for all ships serving the Lebaran 2023 homecoming. The incentive in question is the exemption of clothing costs at Ciwandan Port and Panjang Port.
Pelindo President Director Arif Suhartono said these two ports were used for crossing travelers from Java Island to Sumatra Island.
During this year's homecoming period, continued Arif, the government did ask his party to open the two ports to serve travelers. Especially for travelers with two-wheeled vehicles or motorbikes.
"All port fees we free, starting from delayed services, guides, mooring and loading and unloading costs," he said in a media gathering, Wednesday, April 12.
Furthermore, Arif said this fee exemption applies to both ports. The routes served are Ciwandan-Panjang and vice versa Panjang-Ciwandan.
"So this is for both routes to be released," he said.
For your information, during this Eid period, Ciwandan Port provides a parking area of 8,000 square meters which can accommodate around 800 motorcycles and 100 trucks.
Arif hopes that the transfer of motorcycle services to Ciwandan is expected to reduce congestion at Merak Port.
Ciwandan is also very ready to serve travelers from infrastructure conditions to port facilities. All facilities at the port will be provided by PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry (Persero).
Roro's special motorbike will move from Merak to Ciwandan. We have prepared facilities for waiting rooms, toilets, canteens, health that have been well prepared. Now that provides friends from ASDP," he said.
