Went Viral After Dropped From Team Due To Fasting, Nantes Player Jaouen Hadjam Was Seen I'tikaf In The Mosque
JAKARTA - Nantes player Jaouen Hadjam has again stolen attention on social media. This time he became the subject of conversation because of his obedience to worship.
Previously, in early April, Antoine Kombouare, as coach of Nantes, made a surprising decision. He suddenly crossed out Joauen Hadjam from the list of players ahead of the match against Reims.
The reason is a serious concern. The reason Kombouare made the write-off was that Hadjam refused not to fast on the day of the match.
"Jaouen (Hadjam)? There is no controversy. Those who fast, I support them. During the match, you should not fast," Kombouare said earlier as quoted by ESPN.
"It's not a penalty. I set the rules. It's his choice and I respect that," added the coach.
But with his obedience, Hadjam chose to be relieved when he was dropped from the team. Now that his name is not in the squad, Hadjam is even more established in worship.
This can be seen from the uploads on the @Aouatef23Dz account on social media. In the photo, the 20-year-old player performs I'tikaf or remains silent to worship at the mosque in the city of Nantes.
"Algerian international player Joan Hajjam in a mosque in the city of Nantes, France. Pride of the Galaxy," wrote the account owner as a statement.
Seeing how obedient Hadjam was in worship, positive comments immediately flooded the upload. Many netizens are praying for the player born in Paris, France.
