Stockholders Rise, OCBC NISP Will Distribute IDR 1.3 Trillion Dividend
JAKARTA - The Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGMS) of Bank OCBC NISP has determined to distribute dividends of IDR 1.3 trillion or 40 percent of the company's profit in 2022. It is known that OCBC NISP's profit in 2022 is IDR 3.3 trillion.
"40 percent or IDR 1.3 trillion is designated as a Cash Dividend," said President Director of Bank OCBC NISP Parwati Surjaudaja at a press conference in Jakarta, Tuesday, April 11.
Each shareholder is entitled to a cash dividend of IDR 58 per share. Meanwhile, IDR 100 million is used for general reserves and the remaining Net Profit is designated as retained earnings.
Parwati added that the AGMS also approved the purchase back of the Company's shares (Share Buyback) a maximum of 402,000 shares and the transfer of buyback shares for the provision of variable remuneration in accordance with POJK and applicable laws and regulations.
Just so you know, in 2022 OCBC NISP posted a net profit of IDR 3.3 trillion in 2022, an increase of 32 percent from the previous year's IDR 2.5 trillion.
OCBC Director Hartati said the increase in profit was supported by an increase in net interest income by 14 percent and a decrease in the loss reserve burden by 25 percent.
Then the Third Party Fund (DPK) at the end of 2022 reached IDR 176 trillion, with a composition of 55 percent consisting of demand deposits and savings, and 45 percent being Deposits.
Meanwhile, the increase in the performance of Bank OCBC NISP is also seen in terms of lending, which increased by 14 percent YoY. The increase was supported by the lending of the business banking segment which grew 13 percent YoY and retail banking grew by 16 percent yoy. One of the supporting factors for the increase in retail banking is the growth of consumer loans by 24 percent in 2022.
