Poe, Quora's AI Chatbot Launches a Feature Allowing Users to Create Their Own Bots
JAKARTA - Quora's AI chatbot, Poe, announced a new feature that allows users to create their own bots, just by entering a few commands.
"We're rolling out a new feature in Poe today: user-generated bots. This initially allows anyone to create a new bot based on a short text prompt and an existing bot is used as a base. We currently support Claude instant and ChatGPT as base bots," said the CEO. Quora's Adam D'Angelo in his announcement on Twitter.
Publicly launched last February, and now the AI chatbot, which is the latest product from the Quora Q&A site, provides a unique experience for its users to feel creating their own chatbot.
"We've seen a lot of great experimentation with prompts in LLM both within the community at Poe and around the internet, and it's amazing how much value prompts can unlock from the language model," he added.
Angelo also hopes the new feature will help people encourage sharing of their skills, and provide a simple interface for everyone to get the most out of Al.
To access this feature, you can simply enter the Poe website or open the application directly on your Apple device. From there, click the Create a bot menu and specify the name of the bot that you will create.
After that, enter a description of your bot, or the use of the bot then select the AI technology you want to use, namely either Claude instant or ChatGPT, as the basic bot.

Now, with the command "Give 'salty' answers for all conversations," the AI-powered chatbot will automatically provide answers like a friend who is furious with your vent. Chatbot will answer your complaints with spicy words.

Poe's AI chatbot can be accessed on all devices, including iOS, desktop web, and mobile web on Android.
