Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road Already 4 Lanes, Homecomers Have The Opportunity To Use 2 Lanes During One Way Implementation
PT Jasa Marga said travelers have the opportunity to use two lanes on the Jakarta-Cikampek toll road when there is an implementation of traffic engineering one way or one direction. Secretary General Manager of Jasa Marga Metropolitan Toll Road Regional Division Widiyatmiko Nursejati said that currently the Jakarta-Cikampek toll road section has been widened to four lanes plus the shoulder of the road.
So according to him, the engineering of one way is not entirely carried out considering that the movement to the west is still possible. "This will be in the condition of heavy traffic, the contra flow can be two to three lanes, with the existence of four existing lanes plus one shoulder, so if there is a three lane contraflow, hopefully two lanes can still serve towards Jakarta," said Widiyatmiko at Jasa Marga Pasteur Office, Bandung City, West Java, Monday, April 10, confiscated by Antara. He also suggested that the one-way engineering be carried out starting from the Dawuan Interchange towards the east towards the Cipali Toll Road so that traffic originating from Bandung can still access toll roads. In addition, according to him, Jasa Marga is also coordinating with the police to anticipate the density from Bandung or Cipularang Toll road to the east.
Because, he continued, the homecoming moment has the potential to cause congestion to the west or east.
"If you think there was a queue, there were obstacles, then the tail reached the Sadang Toll Road, automatically the police will make arrangements on the Sadang Toll Road, for example, to Cirebon, which was thrown to Sadang first," he said.
