Pertamina Hulu Indonesia's Managing Director Was Expelled From The House Of Representatives Commission VII Room, This Is The Reason

JAKARTA - Commission VII DPR RI expelled the President Director of Pertamina Hulu Indonesia (PHI) as well as the President Director of Pertamina Hulu Mahakam, Chalid Said Salim from the Commission VII Hearing Meeting with PT Pertamina Hulu Energi, Monday, April 10.

The incident began with an interruption filed by Commission VII member Nasril Bahar before the President Director of Pertamina Hulu Energi (PHE), Wiko Migantoro, conveyed his presentation.

"We asked for clarification on last month's incident when Commission VII made a specific visit to East Kalimantan. At that time there was Mr. Wiko but the President Director of PHM was not present at all at the visit," said Nasril at the Hearing Meeting, Monday, April 10.

Nasrim told the chronology of the members of Commission VII who attended the landing at 10.00 am and waited for the presence of the President Director of PHM until 20.00 p.m. who was absent without notification.

"I think this is a counterparliament harassment. Whatever the name, there was no Commission VII awarder in front of PHM at that time," he continued.

Chalid immediately answered this statement, who was also present at the RDP. Chalid also apologized and explained the reasons for his absence during the specific visit by Commission VII at that time.

"I apologize profusely to Commission VII during a working visit to Balikpapan," said Chalid.

He explained the reason for his absence because at that time he had to attend a meeting with the PHM Commissioner and the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) regarding the company's long-term plan.

Responding to an apology from Chalid, Member of the Indonesian House of Representatives Komis VII from the Democratic Party faction Muhammad Nasir then expelled the President Director of PHI from the room.

"You just get out of this room! We also don't want to make your face here! Why? Don't you need to be the president director of people like this. Why be the president director? This is irresponsible. Your responsibility is for the state and we are supervising the regulation of state supervision," said Nasir.

Nasir also compared Chalid with President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) who continued to fulfill the DPR's summons in the midst of his busy schedule as head of state.

"I ask the leadership to just issue a human being like this. There is no need to be in this room and there is no need to be the President Director anymore. The members are dizzy if this is the President Director. I have permission, we don't have to have a meeting if we don't get out of here," concluded Nasir.
