Homecoming Everton At Home, Manchester United Secures Three Points Through A 2-0 Win
JAKARTA - Manchester United managed to win three points after playing the match with Everton. In the 30th Premier League match at Old Trafford Stadium on Saturday, April 8 evening WIB, Scott McTominay and Anthony Martial scored two goals.
The three points achieved by the Red Devils at their headquarters managed to help them continue to be on the path of winning and reduce the distance of five points with Manchester City in second place in the standings.
At the beginning of the first half, Manchester United tried to appear dominant in front of their supporters. Self-confidence also sided with the Red Devils after winning their last match against Brentford.
The hosts' sharpness tried to be suppressed by Everton players who were also trying to show strength. The competition continued and made the match run exciting.
Manchester United's efforts to dominate the game finally bore fruit. They managed to break into Everton's goal.
Manchester United's 1-0 lead score could not be separated from the execution of Scott McTominay. In the 36th minute he managed to convert the bait given by Jadon Sanco which was the difference.
The hosts' advantage made Everton's troops nervous. Several chances were created but failed to score a reply, until the end of the first half minute the superior score was still MU's.
Entering the second half after halftime, Everton continued to try to break down the Red Devils' defense. Still not successful, coach Sean Dyche immediately turned around by reshuffling his squad through substitutions.
In the 46th minute, Everton made the first substitution by pulling out Ben Right to be replaced by Vitaliy Mykolenko. This change seems to replenish Everton's power which is starting to slack off.
Not only once, Dyche even changed players twice before finally MU joined in attracting his players for the first time. Everton's efforts after that continued, the coach returned to the game.
Instead of being able to catch up, Everton was even worse off. Because the hosts could again double the score to 2-0 through the execution of Anthony Martial who used Marcus Rashford's pass.
Had become the determinant of MU's second goal, in fact Rashford had to leave the field in the 81st minute. However, Manchester United's dominance was actually still able to be maintained until the end of the second half and an additional three minutes.
